Job purpose


We are looking for a talented individual with experience in international student recruitment within South Korea to join our Global Recruitment Team as Regional Manager – South Korea.


The main responsibilities of the role will be to expand and support the agent network across South Korea to ensure that Oxford International meets its commercial objectives.

 


Main duties and responsibilities

  • To develop a strong understanding of the Oxford International brand positioning, subject provision and the unique positioning, provision, and strengths of the Pathways Colleges/ Oxford Direct programs
  • Effectively promote the colleges to business partners (study abroad agents /school partners) by providing our overseas universities/institutions partners and programs up to date trainings on a regular basis
  • To attend recruitment events within South Korea and advise/counsel student enquirers/applicants. (This will also include evening and weekend work from time-to-time, day in lieu will be offered subject to working hours.)
  • To achieve or exceed revenue targets across the University Partnership portfolio in the UK, North America & Australasia
  • To build effective working relationships with the Colleges and University partners that deliver collaborative recruitment activities to achieve enrolment targets
  • With direction from the Regional Director - APAC and in collaboration with colleagues from across the Marketing and Student Recruitment department, to support effective communications across Oxford International’s overseas network by implementing market-focused activity plans
  • To be fully conversant with the admissions policies and procedures to ensure that all recruitment activities are compliant with admissions, UKVI, US, Canada and Australia policies and processes.

Statutory Requirements

  • Eligibility to live, work and travel freely in South Korea
  • Undergo an Enhanced DBS disclosure check or overseas equivalent

Education and Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of working within international student recruitment within South Korea
  • Candidates in being a study abroad agent are welcomed.
  • Overseas higher education background (UK/North America /Australia preferable)
  • Having a study abroad agents’ network connections will be an advantage.
