Operating in Morocco since 1989 as the #1 HEM business school and leading technical institution LaSalle College, we are now looking for a business leader who will unlock growth opportunities in sub-Saharan markets (Anglophone and Francophone) and consolidate our leading position in the Maghreb.


 The Head of Africa (Commercial) will focus on generating student enrollment and ensuring the growth of our key market shares. This individual will develop and lead our marketing and admissions initiatives to build new relationships and expand existing relationships with various partners.

 Reporting to the Executive Vice President, LCI Education, the incumbent will be responsible for leading our commercial efforts with the Africa-based admissions and marketing teams who are responsible for enrolling new students, positioning our brands, and activating our key partnerships. The incumbent will work collaboratively with LCI Education's head office located in Montreal, Canada, and will be guided by Global Marketing and Global Admissions Managers to ensure that LCI Education's effective standards and processes are met. The person will work closely with the Regional Chief Operating Officer and the General Manager – LCI in Morocco



·       Develop sales strategies to recruit students (national and international); You will be a source of proposals and establish strategies for customer retention, satisfaction, loyalty and referencing; Identify students with potential ambassadors and create referral and attraction networks, among other strategies;

·       Develop and implement lead-generating marketing plans and brand positioning strategies; Develop plans for the visibility and development of the LCI Education brand and to increase the awareness of our institutions;

·       Develop annual campus budgets, manage, maintain and report financial information; Set rigorous and objective targets, performance plans and standards;

·       Monitor trends and align LCI Education scalable sales processes to develop growth and profit strategies; Ensure that representatives comply properly and follow the established KPIs;

·       Team management, recruitment and development

       o      Provide supervision and direction to employees in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures;

       o      Coaching, mentoring and developing staff, assessing and providing career planning opportunities and opportunities;

       o      Know how to deal with conflicts and have a problem-solving approach;

       o      Fostering team spirit, valuing diversity as well as cohesion, support and working together to enable each employee and the department to succeed;

·       Ensure that the team achieves sales targets

       o      Set up objectives and targets per employee

       o      Establish performance indicators

       o      Validate, adjust and report on objectives; Evaluate the individual and collective performance of the team;

       o      Ensure that the objectives set by LCI Education are met;

       o      Hold the sales team accountable for results;

·       Sales Force Management:

       o      Implement, monitor and follow performance plans and productivity standards;

       o      Coach, develop and inspire staff to maximize performance potential;

       o      Ensure the optimal use of CRM systems by representatives;

       o      Manage decisions related to the supervision of employees including: day-to-day human resources management, recruitment, training and orientation;

       o      Ensure weekly follow-ups with the sales team, such as follow-up with the client/student and the correct execution of the task assigned by another team

       o      Track sales and marketing team metrics; Analyze reports and transmit projections and results to management

·       Facilitate conflict resolution at the staff and student level;

·       Facilitate conflict resolution at the staff and student level;

·       Ensure compliance with regulators and government, oversee and monitor applications; ensure compliance with policies and procedures;

·       Contribute to the design and development of curriculum;

·       Maintain a thorough understanding of customer needs and monitor their preferences;

·       Forecast annual and quarterly revenues;

·       Implementation of a systematic monitoring of competition, economic indicators and industry trends; Propose projection and adaptation strategies.



·        Fluency in French and English, Portuguese will be an asset

·       Experience in developing and implementing a go-to-market strategy.

·       Experience leading a regional team, and reporting to the head office 7-10 years of experience with multi brand - international company

·       Have a successful track record of transforming high-performing sales teams

·       Participate in the development of marketing strategies aligned with global brand requirements



·       Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in the field of Business Administration, Education, or a related field

·       Experience in higher education recruitment and established network is an asset

·       7 to 10 years of experience managing sales and/or marketing teams with a track record of achieving sales targets

·       Proven leadership experience in multi-faceted operations involving multiple professionals globally
